The Society of Environmental Journalists (SEJ) is now accepting submissions for the 2025 SEJ Awards for Reporting on the Environment. The awards recognise outstanding journalism on environmental issues, with works published between May 1, 2024, and July 31, 2025, eligible for entry.

Entries are open across 10 categories, including features, explanatory reporting, environmental books, student reporting, and more. First-place winners will receive $500, a trophy, a digital banner, and discounted SEJ conference registration. Second-place winners will be awarded $250 and online recognition
