The Strategic Communications Department (Stratcom) is looking for a Managing Editor reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Strategic Communications. This is a central position that requires presence on both Beirut and Byblos campuses.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Managing Editor role is mainly responsible for overseeing the creation and execution of both print and online editorial content. This role is responsible for elevating LAU’s reputation by ensuring all published materials align with the university’s mission, vision, and brand values. By supervising a team of writers and editors, and aligning with the LAU brand and content strategies, the Managing Editor drives content quality, consistency, and innovation across diverse platforms, including social media and audiovisual productions, while fostering collaboration and engagement within the LAU community.

This position supervises the roles of Editor(s), Writer(s), and freelance writers/editors.
