France Médias Monde brings together France 24, the international 24-hour news channel (in French, English, Arabic and Spanish); RFI, the international radio service (in French and 16 other languages); and Monte Carlo Doualiya, the Arabic-language radio station.

The group broadcasts worldwide in 21 languages. Its journalists and network of correspondents provide listeners, viewers and online audiences with news that is open to the world and reflects the diversity of cultures and perspectives, through news bulletins, reports, magazines and debates.

Employees represent 64 nationalities. Each week, RFI, France 24 and Monte Carlo Doualiya reach 278.1 million contacts. The group’s three media outlets have more than 127 million followers across Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp and YouTube, and recorded nearly 5 billion video views and audio starts in 2025.

France Médias Monde is the parent company of CFI, the French media cooperation agency, and one of the shareholders of TV5MONDE, the French-language general-interest television channel.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Within the France 24 News Department, the successful candidate will join the English-language News editorial team. Reporting to the Deputy Director in charge of the English-language channel and to the Editors-in-Chief, the main responsibilities will include:

• Implementing decisions made by the Editor-in-Chief and coordinating the work of the technical and editorial teams during the preparation and recording of the news bulletin.

• Approving stories from both a technical and journalistic perspective, as well as presenters’ introductions and on-screen graphics, under the authority of the Editor-in-Chief.

• Approving the broadcast of the news bulletin, including its preparation, rights management and coordination with presenters.

• Ensuring that timings are respected while taking into account the constraints of the channel’s overall running order.
